Lovely food. Lovely staff. Will definitely be back soon

Ambience charming and olde worlde. Location and interior picturesque and interesting. Lovely fire with armchairs as you come in. Menu extensive and beautifully cooked and presented. Prices very reasonable. Wine served in small bottles, so can be distributed appropriately between drivers and non-drivers. All round a hidden treasure.

This is a favourite place of mine. When funds permit this is a preferred place. The only problem is that it is not always open when I feel like visiting. Access is not easy for wheelchair users so please call and check before visiting. I have not had the opportunity to ask the owners about wheelchair access so please call first. They are very nice pleasant and friendly, helpful and courteous. My sort of people. It is cosy and warm and on occasion may have an open fire.I am adding the following general note to all my posts. 20181123. General notice. There is no legal requirement to provide water to non-customers unless it is a licensed premises.Business premises in the UK have water meters fitted and are charged for every drop they use. IT IS NOT FREE. Water is available and for customers making purchases water will be provided. For non paying customers a charge may be levied. This is entirely reasonable.

Friendly and warm service, cozy atmosphere, delicious meal! Try the fish and chips! It's very juicy and crispy at the same time!

Just excellent!!! Unusual building which looks a bit like a former pub but interior dcor is light and airy. Really good, friendly service. Lovely people. Absolutely superb food from an interesting menu.Interesting starters, lovely mains and sandwiches. They do good bottled beers if you want one too. If we were in the area again, we would definitely eat here another time.Desserts and cakes look far too good!! All in all a really, really good meal for four people on a Sunday.
