I have driven past this pub many times over the years and always assumed it was a tourist trap. It is not! It is a wonderful little pub with the moat wonderful bartender. It is simple and classic. Cannot believe we skipped over it for so long.
Good honest to goodness pub. Beer is always just right. Robert and bar staff always friendly.
A fantastic pub great staff with a warm and welcoming reception. Lots of character and very popular with the locals. A large open plan bar and seating area which in the pubs past would have been separate rooms. Even though it's been modernised it still retains a cosy old fashioned feel.
