Lovely coffee house at the bottom of Wallace Monument. It is the perfect place to begin or end your trip to the monument or perhaps the perfect place to have a cup of tea as you wait for others to travel up or down the hill. Warm and friendly with very nice seating and lovely staff.
Great place that you would not expect to find there, basic coffee shop you would expect, but this is so much more, quite tourist orientated but I'm local, I go there alot because its great coffee, scones, cakes, soup, staff are so welcoming I could go on, if you stay local or travelling in the area go and try it, you won't be disappointed
The food was tasty if somewhat overpriced. The counter staff are friendly and helpful, so I would say it was worth it. Just a shame the muffins were somewhat stale.
Serve yourself cold sandwiches, crisps, Great Coffees - a good stop before climbing the foot path to the Wallace Monument.
Situated in the The National Wallace Monument ticket booking office building.Lovely little cafe to grab a bite to eat or relax over a cup of tea. Food is always tasty and staff friendly and polite. Not great for big buggies and no baby changing facilities at all, but considering it's quite a small place can't really complaint.
