First time glamping in hobbit houses, really enjoyed it as did family, great location to access lots of local fun and games. Staff friendly and helpful. We stayed in the bigger ones with own shower and loo. Can highly recommend, great views.
Had a great few days here. Very clean toilets and showers and kitchen area. Great experience and very affordable too. Great location, amazing views. Cabins are basic but comfortable and heating is good and not to expensive. Staff very friendly and helpful with any issues. Would definitely recommend a visit here.
Beautiful location, but facilities very poor for tourers. Best part is the fun you will have trying to locate the waste disposal and the wonderful surprise when you finally find it!!
Great place to stay with the whole family. Affordable, clean and has a communal kitchen area, toilets and showers. We had a basic pod/cabin with only beds and a little table for food with a little fridge and kettle. Not the youngest of pods, but still in ok condition, clean and tidy. Every pod in our area had a little fireplace as well, made out of an old truck rim (this place likes to repurpose them). There is also an old helicopter, that has been converted to a cabin, that you can rent, I think. Also has a rim in between the rotor blades welded in, the real mechanics of the rotor were probably still useful for somebody else, haha.For 1pound, you can buy some marsh mellows and firewood for the fireplace for 6pound. Fireplaces also have a grill for doing your basic BBQ. Staff is helpful and friendly.
Camped here and had a brilliant stay. Kids mountain bike trail was great for my 8 year old. Stunning views and nice friendly staff. Not much to do just a park, a shop and a pub so perfect in nice weather felt super safe for the kids.
