Great camo site, clean shower block and friendly welcome. Oh and the neighbouring highland coos were gorgeous
One of the best. Blend of friendly and efficient that is seldom found together. Absolutely ace. And the location is stunning yet conveniently near Stirling and all its attractions.
Lovely camping, nice surroundings. Only about 30 minutes away from the Wallace monument (you could see the camping from the top!) The owner is incredibly friendly. The facilities are nice and clean tough a little bit outdated. Don't let this hold you back tonight cause it's still one of the best I've seen through out or trip around Scotland!
Good campground for a small tent. Very helpful staff. Toilets are fine. But showers are only for small people and not that great. I'm not sure if I want to come back
Great for caravans, not for tents. The tent area is way in the back where the view of surroundings is not so great. Also it's right next tot the "Dog walk" area, which means there's a constant smell of dog-piss. In the morning the fermenting smell from a nearby brewery mixed with that dog-piss-smell made it even worse.The underground is rolling to say the least, so we had a hard time finding a good place to pitch our tents. We ended up being very close to other people, which wasn't fun for us or them. The facilities (which you had to walk quite a distance for) were inadequate for such a large crowd.We paid too much for this - 12,5 a night for a tent should get you more comfort and cleanliness and definitely no bad odours.The staff was friendly enough and I can imagine it being nice from a camper's perspective. But I'm rating my experience... so 1 star is all it gets.
