Great hotel, very good location, friendly and helpful staff, clean and tidy, good standard, tasty food, good value for money.
It's simply a Travelodge but new, clean and with friendly staff. Breakfast was expensive so we didn't bother. Travelodge policy on changing your booking still means that it's prohibitively expensive to make a booking that can be moved later.
Clean comfortable and quiet despite being central Stirling. Good price for what was only an overnight stay. Directions suggested leaving the Perth motorway at junction 9 but junction 10 looks easier given the hotels location.
The best travellodge where I've been so far. It is a fairly new building and the service is also good.
I can't fault the Hotel for location and value for money. We traveled to Stirling by train and the hotel is minutes away on foot. The hotel is new so it was modern and clean. The room is basic as you would expect but it is spacious with everything that you would need for a short stay. The wall mounted TV was a good size. My only negatives are that the bathroom is very small. I'm only 5ft7 and average build and when I used the loo it was a fairly tight fit so I can't imagine what it's like for a taller and bigger built person. Delighted that it was shower only, however it's just a curtain and they never contain the water and always stick to you. As with most budget hotel chains you only ever seem to get two large towels. My wife uses a towel for her hair and then one for her body so I would suggest at least 3 large towels for a 2 person stay. My only other negative was the in room heating/cooling. Considering the time of year my room was very warm through the night but I was unable to get the fan to activate on the Aircon. I spoke to the receptionist the next morning and she said she could activate the fan centrally and she would do that for me. On returning to our room that night I still couldn't get any cool air so I ended up opening the window to cool the room so I could get to sleep. This was fine until the traffic outside started to build and it became too noisy to tolerate. Small negatives aside I would still recommend this hotel and I would stay there again if I return to Stirling in the future.
