Clean, efficient reception, comfy bed, cheap as chips.
This is a motel and so it is a fairly bog basic Travelodge. For food you need to use the nearby restaurants as part of the break area but beware they close quite early
Bit dated, but clean. No internal soundproofing, couldn't hear the M9 but could hear someone snoring, people in the corridor outside of the room (unsurprising as gap under the door also let light in all night too). I have to mention the family above who decided to get their 10,000 steps in before 9am, but on mentioning the noise the night before and the following morning the hotel did refund us so no complaints about the customer service. My kids were in awe - a real key for the room!Hotel guests given 20% discount at the services next door.
As a Travelodge it is what it is. Bed's a bit hard but clean and tidy which is what you need after 16 hours on the road. Get a 20% allowance in the services Burger King and Greggs but you can be in Sterling in 15 mins for real food.
Excellent Stay. Considering this us a budget hotel, and we were staying with 2 dogs this place exceeded our expectations. The accommodation was clean and good quality. The staff were very helpful. There were service station shops and Costa next door. Plus a really good area to walk the dogs, with pleasant views out the back too! The location was quiet when we visited too.
