We were going to come and stay here for a night but weather conditions stopped us from being able to come up. We called and asked for a refund, as we couldn't come up, it was dangerous. She said yeah that's fine i will try and get another booking and contact your partner to get a partial refund. We heard nothing. Called again the following day. she said you need to call the booking sight. I did that, however the booking sight contacted her to authorise a refund - but she declined. Very poor service and communication - would not advise to even attempt to visit.
Great b&b. The host is very nice, the room was cosy, a tad cold so we had to get the portable heater. The breakfast was great and she was kind enough to let us leave our luggage there, although it was not locked up.
Castle Walk is the perfect place to stay while discovering beautiful Stirling. This was one of our favorite cities in the UK, and Castle Walk was part of that experience for sure. Adrian and Jackie are so very kind and really take great care of their guests. The delicious breakfast is included in the price of the room and is served in a cute dining room in the middle of the building. We appreciated how easy it was to get everywhere from Castle Walk, it made getting a little tipsy in town and finding our way back super easy. Very comfortable bed in a recently redone room - thank you!!
Jackie met us on arrival and immediately couldn't do enough for us swapping her car space so we could park , letting us decide which room we would prefer, if we required anything in particular for breakfast. Great welcome pack with good information on local restaurants all within a few minutes of walking distance.A great place to stay in the heart of Stirling would recommend wholeheartedly.
Great place to stay. I enjoyed my overnight stay here (room 11). Was a bit thrown at first that room was not ensuite but was completely blown away when I saw the bathroom that was all mine! Lovely toiletries provided and lush towels. Had a great night's sleep in extremely comfortable double bed. Breakfast included in the price. I didn't have the full Scottish breakfast but it did look tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed my poached eggs on toast and as much coffee as I could drink whilst drinking in the fantastic view from the breakfast room. I visit Stirling regularly and would definitely stay here again. Oh yes, it's close to all amenities and things to see in Stirling as well as being perfectly located if you wanted to travel further afield.
